IT House October 1st news, Tesla held its 2022 AI Day
event this morning, debuting the prototype of the Optimus (Optimus) humanoid
robot.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the robot uses Tesla's
artificial intelligence software, as well as sensors similar to advanced driver
assistance functions, and has the same technology as the FSD beta version.
As can be seen from the picture, compared to the previous
concept version, the prototype looks more industrial, without black and white
color matching, and the parts are completely exposed. The right side of the
picture below is the version to be mass-produced in the future.
At the event, the Tesla Optimus Prime humanoid robot
stepped out from the back of the stage and did a dance move. Afterwards, the
company showed video clips of the robot doing other tasks, such as picking up
boxes and watering.
IT House has learned that Musk said it can do more than it
has shown, but today is the first time it has walked without a tether. The
target price of Tesla's Optimus Prime humanoid robot "may be less than
20,000 US dollars (about 143,000 yuan)", and future applications may
include cooking, gardening, and even companionship. Musk also claimed that the
robot may be the earliest in the Production will start next year.
